Tropicana Description

A landmark for more than 50 years, the classic Tropicana Resort & Casino brings a touch of old-school charm to the Las Vegas Strip.

The more than 1,800 rooms at the Tropicana are spacious and affordable with plenty of amenities. The Paradise Tower Rooms feature exquisitely designed ornamental plaster ceilings and dark wooden crown mouldings, a couch, a desk and a refrigerator. The Island Tower Room has a more adventurous feel with bamboo headboards, lots of mirrors and a Roman tub. The Garden Rooms with their floral comforters, offer guests a private balcony. All the rooms have an iron and ironing board, hairdryers and safes.

Throughout the years, many people have been drawn to the Tropicana's five-acre tropical pool paradise with three swimming pools and whirlpools, cascading waterfalls and lush foliage. In the summertime, swim-up blackjack tables enable guests to partake in gaming action while soaking up the sun.

The property also features a full service spa, a styling salon and barber shop, a variety of unique shopping options, six restaurants, a tropical-themed island wedding chapel and more than 100,000 square feet of convention and exhibit space.

Entertainment is second to none at the Tropicana. Las Vegas' longest running production show, Folies Bergere, with its famous showgirls has dazzled audiences since 1959. Guests will also enjoy XTreme Magic featuring Dirk Arthur and the hilarious antics of The Comedy Stop. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will leave a lasting impression on guests.

The Tropicana was originally deemed the "Tiffany of the Strip" because of its elegant atmosphere. It stands today as a reminder of Las Vegas history, evoking nostalgia while offering the conveniences and pleasures of modern day.
