Silverton Description

Reminiscent of a rustic mountain lodge and situated just off the Strip, the Silverton Casino Lodge offers something for everyone, including affordable rooms, a gigantic Bass Pro Shops, a top-notch steak house and a huge saltwater aquarium.

Decorated in earth tones and accented by amber-tinged lighting, stone and wood, the hotel has become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Fresh on the tail of a $160 million expansion, it has even been described by some guests as a big living room.

Silverton President Craig Cavileer said the property is filled with touches of home. From the critically acclaimed steakhouse Twin Creeks to the climate controlled valet in the parking garage, "there is nothing quite like the Silverton, south of the 215," said Cavileer."It's different here. The ambience and feel is more comfortable than most hotels."

In addition to more than 30 table games, the 90,000-square-foot casino boasts a brand new high limit table salon with three table games, a lounge and a private restroom. The quaint five-table, smoke free poker room is also brand new. Many of the more than 2,000 slots feature the latest in technology with LED screens that stream player-specific messages.

Guests at the Silverton will also enjoy the 165,00-square-foot outdoor enthusiast's paradise, the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The first Bass Pro Shops in the West, the store offers everything from hunting supplies to boats, fishing lures and golf gear. The store also offers an archery range, rock-climbing wall, two pistol and rifle ranges and a huge aquarium filled with fish to practice your casting skills.

Not far from the shop, the hotel has its own own aquatic wonderland, with a 117,000-gallon saltwater tank that houses more than 5,000 tropical fish and an occasional mermaid.

Silverton features a wide selection of live entertainment at a newly constructed 13,000 square-foot pavilion, located between the Silverton and Blue Diamond Road. The property's new $2.5 million center bar, Light Bar, will be opening soon and will feature 240 color-changing chandeliers.

Whether relaxing with a drink in the cozy Shady Grove Lounge or dining among tree branches and landscape images on TVs at the Sundance Grill, guests are sure to feel cozy and welcome at the Silverton.
