Dining options range from steak and seafood delicacies at the Gold Strike Steakhouse to a quick pick-me-up at Sutter's Snacks. The Gold Strike Bonanza Buffet tempts the taste buds with more than 40 different entrees and desserts, all made fresh daily, while the Gold Rush Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner – including a prime rib special – 24 hours a day.

Why not learn a new skill while on vacation by signing up for ballroom dancing lessons, which are offered in the hotel's ballroom twice a week. Admission includes an hour of dance lessons and four hours of dancing. Door prizes are drawn throughout the evening and guests are served two complimentary drinks.

During the warmer months enjoy the Gold Strike's outdoor pool and spa tub, as well as a children's pool. Kids and the young at heart can pass time in an arcade and game room.
